Support Your Local Schola

Cleveland TLM Friends was asked to post the following.

I'm Jeffrey Quick, Schola director for the Latin Mass at St. Sebastian. A High Mass requires music. Music requires musicians. The music at our Masses is provided by volunteers (not professionals), and there are never enough of them. If you have any musical experience or ability at all, you should be singing in a Schola. Naturally, I'd like you to sing in MY Schola (rehearsal Tues.night 8-9:30; and 12:15 before the 1:00 Mass), which does easier part music in addition to chant. But St. Stephens and Immaculate Conception need singers as well. If you go to these parishes regularly, you have a feel for how they are: a little more chant at St. Stephens, a lot more polyphony at the Mac. One or more of these will match your skill level and schedule. So look at yourself and your life, talk to God about it, and then contact one of us:
