Saturday Latin Mass Pictures

As was posted before, Fr. Bede is now offering a Latin low Mass on the Saturdays of the month, EXCLUDING FIRST SATURDAY, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary church on Buckeye Road in Cleveland.

The Mass was celebrated at Mary's side altar. A good number of Faithful attended, and the newly ordained Canon Matthew Weaver assisted in choir, after which he celebrated his own private Mass. St. Elizabeth's is a beautiful church, as you can see in the pictures. It is a fitting environment for The Most Beautiful Thing This Side of Heaven.

Mass for the Vigil of the Assumption, Aug 14

Please note the date for this Mass: TUESDAY, AUG 14, 2018, the Vigil of the Assumption. Of course, the Feast of the Assumption is August 15.

The Church of the Assumption, located at 9183 Broadview Rd, Broadview Hts, Ohio, is celebrating the this vigil with a Traditional Latin High Mass at 7pm.

There is also the regular Tuesday Morning Mass at St. Stephen at 7am.

No Evening Mass, Wed. 8/1

As announced on Sunday, there will be no evening TLM at St Stephen on Wednesday, August 1. Mass will still be available at 7am at Immaculate Conception.

New Saturday Latin Mass

The Traditional Latin Mass will be offered every 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th  (if there is one) Saturday every month at 9 A.M. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary, 9016 Buckeye Rd, Cleveland, beginning August 11.  Fr. Mezei, the administrator has granted permission to Fr. Bede O.S.B. to transfer his Mass from the Monastery to the parish church in lieu of adequate space and accommodation for the faithful.  This move also offers an opportunity to train local clergy in the ancient rite and train grade school and high school youth in serving the Mass.  The church is on the Historical Record as the Mother Church for Hungarians in North East Ohio. There is also a Hungarian Museum on property and many other Hungarian cultural events. Spacious parking is available behind the church.

Celebrate the Ordination!

Deacon Matthew Weaver, Clevelander, will be ordained to the priesthood of the Institute of Christ the King, and Fr Ireland, pastor of Sacred Heart, wants the TLM Faithful to know the following. Please keep ALL who are discerning or entering the priesthood in your prayers. The Church needs Holy Priests.

Children's Rosary

A message from a Friend:

Hi Friends of TLM

We are promoting a monthly Children's Rosary at Mary Queen of Peace Church 4423 Pearl Road Cleveland, Ohio. Second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM in the lower chapel (after the 6:00 PM Mass).

The program, designed for children, lasts one-half hour and includes the Rosary, a couple-minute talk about praying together as a family, and a Marian antiphon.

Fr. Frank Godic's Ordination Anniversary

PASTOR'S ANNIVERSARY: Father Frank Godic, pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Cleveland, will be commemorating the 45th anniversary of his priestly ordination on Saturday, June 9, at 10:00 AMwith a Solemn High Latin Mass, assisted by Deacon and Subdeacon and the parish Schola Cantorum. He will be celebrating the Votive Mass of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Supreme and Eternal Priest. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 9, 1973 by the Most Rev. Clarence G. Issenmann, Bishop of Cleveland.

Memorial Day Mass

As our nation recalls those who have served and sacrificed, on Memorial Day, May 28, Immaculate Conception will offer Low Mass at 8am.
